Artist History
The band was formed in 1995 with the intention to play death metal.They started playing in small venues and gigs. Two years from then, a demowas recorded, but it was used only as promotion and was never for sale. That year Buried Dreams the first contest of national underground heavy metal. They gotthe right to support two major acts: Cannibal corpse and Hypocrisy. Oz Records signed them, so they recorded their first CD called Beyond your Mind. A promotion tour all around Mexico was done with other labelmates. In 1999 the band travels to Sweden to record theirsecond album, at the well-known Studio Fredman. After recording the CD Buried Dreams makes its European debut, playing in Berlin. Perceptions was released in april 2000, and the band has started a promotion tour. Oz Recordshas also released a live compliation (CD and Video) in which Buried Dreams appears.Oz Records |
