Artist History Split Second was formed in April of 2000. Chris and Timmy were playing in a band called Postmark (started only a few months before Split Second). Timmy also played in a band called One Side Red with a crazy drumming fool named Mikey. Jay was playing in a band called Split Second, however, the drummer moved to Hastings NE, the bass player moved to Redding CA and the other guitar player moved to Chicago IL. Shortly thereafter, Split Second reformed with all new songs and all new members but one. To be honest no one really knows why the name Split Second wasn’t dropped. It’s a whole new band, but all the members of Split Second are lazy and lack wit, thus, the name stayed. Split Second band continues to rock Omaha (and surrounding areas).
