Artist description SAHINA is a Singer/Songwriter&Producer duo in the contemporary RnB/Pop/Alternative Rock genre, located in Vienna/Austria. While all the original songs of SAHINA are written, composed and produced by the original duo Manfred and Sabina, SAHINA performs life as a complete band. SAHINA‘s music is a well-balanced mixture of indigenous Band Sound, Dance and Crossover Elements kept together by catchy tunes and hook-lines.

Artist History SAHINA was formed in the early spring of 1998 in Vienna - Austria.After a long periode of experimenting with different music styles as well as various musicians and bands, the paths of a unusual vioce and an ambitioned musician crossed. Just like if the breaks in their musical journey where only designed for bringing them together.SAHINA combine modern drumbeats and synth-loops with indigenous band sound. Put accustic basses together with raw drum beats, wave drums together with fuzz gitars, sitars with dance sounds... simply any combination seems possible for SAHINA. Nevertheless the listener will never get lost in intricate sound structures. SAHINA’s music is mainly designed for the general audience and not for a selected group of ‚advanced listeners‘ only. That turns out best in songs like "The Art Of Lettin' Go" or "Venus" – Simple Guitarlicks and 'old-fashined' drumbeats go perfectly together with the string ensemble. And at the same time, or maybe just because of that, the music of SAHINA sounds emotional and well-thought at the same time. Anyhow, the danceable rhythms and beats of SAHINA’s songs seem to ask „are you really comfortable in that chair?" Can you imagine a mixture between Rammstein and Madonna? No? Then try Sahina's Song "Killing Sugar"!!! In quite a different way from other singers, Sabina uses her "gift from heaven" mostly as the means of expression for her emotions. As light as a feather her voice floats over the heavy beats and grooves. It seems that Sabina acts as an intermediary between the heavenly emotions of her voice and the earthy sound of Manfreds music. And Manfreds part is to turn Sabinas wealth of ideas into action.
