Patsy Cline is one of the pioneers of women in Country music. Author of many songs in the mid to late 1950's, her first smash hit was, "Walkin' After Midnight." Although Cline never matched the commercial success of "Walkin' After Midnight," she continued to pursue a successful career spanning many different styles of Country. Patsy Cline also paved the way for many women to break into the Country scene. |
