Press Reviews
A cross between Blue Cheer of the late 60's and any number of metal band from the early 80's, Lost Youth hasn't seem to have...lost youth...at least musically. I love when the title of a track is a preview of the music. "Society's Bitch" sounds just like it should, raw...unfettered by effects...straight ahead, in your face, take it or leave it rock and roll. BANG YOUR HEAD with Lost Youth! -Morgang...............LOST YOUTH well, Lost Youth looks like a bunch of guys i could see beating the shit out of people in a bar right after they rocked the place with a kick ass performance. personally, i would love to see that happen. perform and make girls panties wet, then kick their boyfriends ass and take their girlfriends in the backroom and make them call out your name everytime they have sex with their pansy ass boyfriend again. They even have a live song - "No Bills To Pay" - that rocks. ironically, their DAM CD is named - INNOCENCE LOST! innocent babes in a bar who think of Lost Youth everytime they screw their husbands? hopefully. i suggest they continue to rock hardcore and kick in some heads - cause a big ruckus, get mass negative exposure, which is really good exposure. hey, everyone likes the bad guys! nice guys never score, they take girls home and get a thank you. get some Lost Youth. -Frankenstyne...............rock - this is the only thing the artistīs info page on mp3.com tells you laconically about the music of this band.yeah! and thatīs it: pure rockīnīroll, as it was always meant: straight guitars, loud, dirty, with messages made for the man on the street. and though they might be no teens anymore - that just enforces them to play their full musical experience over all the rocking years. you can hear that!-Marco |
