Artist History
Dave has written over a hundred songs and has produced 4 official CDs on his own. These include #0 (recorded at SoundPure Studios: Durham, NC), Hidden Songs, Metropolice, and his latest Alias 430. Dave grew up in Okemos, MI, and started playing the piano at the young age of five. After twelve years of classical training (and seven years playing the trombone), he began fooling around with a cheap guitar, and instantly dropped everything else. In 1998, Dave moved down to North Carolina, where he attended Duke University. While at Duke, he directed the all-male a cappella group, Speak of the Devil, joined the Beta Fraternity, and performed anywhere possible, with all sorts of different musicians. In 2002, Dave graduated with a B.S. in Psychology: Neuroscience. He currently resides in East Haven, CT, where he is working at Yale in a research lab, and writing more music. |
