Artist History Sleepy grew up around nothin' but self-destruction on the East Side of DETROIT.His music reflects the survival of growing up in an inner city. As a youngsta SLEEPY loved music and the bright city lightz and it was then he realized that his destiny was music. With a single mother unable 2 afford shoes, cloths, food, and most other necessities. Unable 2 afford what his peers had he resorted 2 leaving town and particiapting in illegal activities, thats how it all started..... At age 13 he now had everything he wanted stemming from money, hoes, cloths,and the respect of his peers. He was introduced 2 the life of drugz, gunfire, quick money, and the fast life. Traveling' from city 2 city he was placed on a pedestal by everyone he came in contact with. He met up with OG DC ANNO who taught him the game of slangin' aswell as the game of life. He saw such things as drive by shootings, people losing their lives over drugz, friends being killed and sent 2 jail. He was in and out of jails and other obstacals of life while runnin' with gangs uch as Cripz, Bloodz, Folkz, and Gangstaz. He saw that drugz and gangs where a path 2 nowhere and begain rhymin'. Finnal gettin' in2 the music industry and seein' how fake and shady most companys were he decided 2 take shit in2 his own handz set up shop in ATLANTA and thats history.
