Artist description
PMD is a bunch of happy punk rockers. Heavily influenced by the likes of Blink182 and Green Day, their sound is heavy, fast and extremely catchy. They have an interesting variety of musical styles in their stongs, from emo and pop punk to plain old hard rock. Beware! The songs of PMD become easily stuck in your head, and you will find yourself repeating the catchy melodies of the songs non-stop for several days after any exposure to the music. |

Artist History
The current line-up of PMD came together in June of 1999. After guitarist/lead vocalist Mark Miller and drummer Mike Burns began songwriting in mid-1997, they went through several guitarist before discovering the current guitarist Brian Miller in the summer of '98. The three stuck together for a while (with resting in between) searching for a bassist that could make us laugh, cry, and .. play bass. Summer of '99: Enter Kevin Tuohy -- The coolest stand-up comedian/N64 addict/seven year old/bassist became the bass guitarist. With a final line-up, they began writing original songs to be played at clubs and schools around the Northern VA area. With several shows under their belts, PMD finally hit the studio (Mike's basement + Yamaha recorder) to record some demos to be used for the album. In May of '99 PMD will release their first full-length CD. |
