Artist description
SF Bay Area based Pandemonaeon weaves Middle Eastern and Celtic music into a modern rock context that they call Tribal-Trance-Rock. Their sound, shaped by artists such as Dead Can Dance, Page and Plant, and Loreena McKennitt, is defined by strong, danceable rhythms, compelling melodies and lyrics that weave together the spiritual influences of ancient tradition and modern life. Individual freedom, conceptual piracy, and Dionysian ecstasy: This is the essence of Tribal-Trance-Rock. |

Musical Influences
Pandemonaeon’s musical inspirations comes from long cherished Earth-centered spiritual values. Founding members Sharon and Winter feel that a religion which honors the Earth as a living entity, and which honors all people as equals can produce a more sane, satisfying and viable reality. “The sacred symbols we choose shape the way we view our world, and thus the way we choose to act in our world.” Therefore, they consider it their duty to offer life-affirming, earth-based images to the worldwide community through music, dance and other arts. Many of these themes can be found in their music. |

Artist History
Pandemonaeon seeks to create gathering places, where people can come together, and share food and drink, and dance together, and weave their dreams together in the spirit of celebrating life. They have done this for several years now, originally as a Sonoma County based band, now restructured and signed to indie label Trance Jam Records. |
