Artist History
In 1999, Once In The Sun became. JC and MK began recording a handful of songs during 1999 and the few years that followed. Eventually, they tried playing with another gent, but that never worked out. By 2002, there were a ton of songs, but not much else to show for it. Finally, things fell into place and the current line-up of Once In The Sun began writing new songs, re-recording a few old ones, and going so far as to play two live shows. The band is working on an album to shop around and have been preparing for more live shows in the summer of 2003, at least in the Portland and Seattle areas. |

Press Reviews
"My initial thought was 'Wow! Are these Japanese?' Then, in short order: Italians, Dave Kusworth and Nikki Sudden, Swedes, Dean Wareham or a long-lost Felt rehearsal tape. Then I got it – come on out, Peter Perrett, and keep your hands where I can see ‘em… Classic no-fi recording values and one evil punk rock vocal. My God, this takes me back to the eighties, and I don’t mean Dire Straits or Bauhaus."--Pat Fish, singer/songwriter of the Jazz Butcher Conspiracy. |
