New Yellow Slickers is a seven-piece ska-rock band based in StateCollege, PA. Combining the upbeat elements of ska and great foot-tapping, ass-shaking rock 'n roll, NYS has become a local favorite, winning fans over at every show. The strong rhythm section, rich horn ensemble, and an energetic vocal front combine such that New Yellow Slickers have become known for their live performances. |

Artist History
New Yellow Slickers originally formed in fall of 1997 but to no great avail. Regrouping and reorganizing in the fall of 1998, NYS immediatly turned to impacting the local scene, dominated by cover bands. |
