Artist History
Formed in 1998, Free Sample stormed out of the west-side Phoenix punk scene and rapidly made a name for itself sharing bills with the likes of Five Iron Frenzy, Squad Five-O, The Insyderz, Dogwood, Slick Shoes, Value Pac, and many others in reputable punk venues like the Tempe Bowl, The Nile Theater, and others. After appearing on two Worthless Records compilation CDs, the band recorded its Worthless debut, '...And In the Other Corner...', in the latter half of 1999 and released the CD in March of 2000 at a show with Blaster the Rocket Man. |

Press Reviews
"By far, the highlight of the CD [Rage vol. I, Worthless Records comp.] is Free Sample, a band reminiscent of The Buzzcocks or The Undertones."...The New Times |
