Artist description
Der Traumzestand Projekt formed when Lars Dietrich and Z.M. Muscar looked into each others eyes in a Cafe in Seattle, Washington and said "There must be more bands for ukulele and casio musicians!"At the same time a major revolution was brewing at Ukulele Freedom Front Headquarters! Soon Der Traumzestand Projekt, many of whom had been in hiding since "The Alkmaar Incident" found themselves in the center of another controversy.Yet they keep making the music they love. "It is for us. THE SWISS WILL NEVER STOP US!" Lars yells as they rush off in his "Pimp Auto" as swiss agents approach. |

Artist History
How It All Started: This group of lo-fi experimentalists truly brought out the darkest sides of The Ukulele Freedom Front; fighting for the cause with ukulele, casio, noizy fx, drums, clarinet, and the vocal styling of Sony Anders. While in the protection of Riot Ukes Special Forces, The Musicians agreed to assemble for 3 intense sessions of live improvisation on neutral territory: Pentagon Studios in a location that must remain a secret. |

Press Reviews
"Part Patty Smith and part Kraftwerk meets Captain Beefheart, the album has a brooding sonic dissonance..." -The Seattle Rocket Another record just released by the Ukulele Freedom Front is Der Traumzerstand Project's Volume One: Lost, a cacophonous conglomeration of industrial minimalism. "It has a quasi-Dutch-flavor, kind of like a parking garage next to a construction site with a jackhammer going and a crew member on break playing his ukulele," explains Z.M. Muscar. Part Patti Smith and part Kraftwerk meets Captain Beefheart, the album has a brooding sonic dissonance sprinkled with light notes and vocals floating around. "I think people will be surprised and delighted," Z.M. Muscar giggles like a court jester about the coalition's latest releases. -The Seattle Rocket |
