Artist description
I've played in alot of different bands since I started writing and playing guitar back in 1960. Currently I am working strictly as a solo artist though I do get a chance to jam with some pretty awesome musicians on a fairly frequent basis. |

Artist History
I've performed as a bassist, guitarist and vocalist with alot of groups over the years. Back in 1965, I opened for the Beach Boys in Knoxville, TN with my group, "The Echo" I've played on Public Radio in Houston, TX., Had a "pick hit" in Nashville in the 70's with my LP "Rusty Rails & Cold Steel Blues"Played in L.A. with Tsunami, Jammed in the Fla Keys for a few years with "Daryl Licks & His Scroungy Sidekicks" I've basically played all over the U.S. with alot of different bands, playing alot of different kinds of music. I still love basic folk/blues the most - it's where The Irish meets the Black - Maybe that's why I love my family home back in East, TN so much. It's a great place to here downhome music with african beats. |
