Artist description
Progressive. Very progressive. Moody, relaxing, spooky, exuberant. I don't know where the music comes from. I can't give you some long, wordy description of what I do. I can't list influences and similar artists until I'm blue in the face. I just make music. That's all. I classify myself in electronic although I don't know that I'm a "true" electronic artist. The music I make seems oftentimes to be more like film compositions than driving, pumping electronic ditties. I go more for beauty than seeing how much noise I can make in a matter of 4 or 5 minutes. Don't get me wrong, I LIKE the noise. But I think maybe I should leave the noise-making to someone else. |

Music Style
I see my work as a collection of subtle influences from quite a few different genres: New Age, Trance, Minimalist, Progressive Electronica, Ambient, Classical... |
|
Musical Influences
Orbital, Karl Jenkins, various film score and classical composers |
|
Similar Artists
I can't begin to guess. |

Artist History
I started all this in the summer of 1999 when I heard Orbital's "In Sides" for the first time. I've been hooked on these beautiful sounds ever since (and the Hartnoll boys remain a supreme source of inspiration). |
