Artist description
The Goat Next Door is Saskatoon's most feared band. Well, maybe not for real but we'd like to think so. We lack a real musical genre so we made our own, goat ska. Some songs sound like jazz, some like ska, some have a punkish feel to it...so it all equaled out to our own "genre", goat ska. |

Artist History
It all started in December 1999 when Jen asked two brothers, Matt and Ryan, to start a "death ska" band with her. She, however, did not know they were brothers. Later Andrew and his big wagon were added for drumming duties and soon after Jessica came and joined as a second saxplayer, as well as some fine vocals. Yes indeed. Things went along for awhile...gigs were played...tens of fans were made...and then Andrew had to leave. Then all of a sudden out of the smoke Ryan #2 stepped forward and took the place of drummer. We now practice in his cold basement. Which is actually a good thing. That brings us to the present. |
