Artist description
stan marshall is an experimental electric bassist/four string guitarist from pittsburgh pa who draws inspiration from the chaotic meaninglessness of a temporary existence spent in a pathetic and (thus far) futile attempt to escape indentured servitude to big brother and the student loan company.in 1995 stan founded eternal tap records to publish two albums from the Drillers, a punk/blues/rock band he was then playing with. since then, eternal tap records has gone on to release several commercially non-viable projects stan has been involved with. the most notable include works by the improvisational groups bs mc, shopliftin' poontang, and the shawlin beatmonks.stan's latest release is an 10 song solo CD titled "five-dollar balloon" which features multiple tracks of effected bass and vocals. |
