Artist History
Regan (pronounced "ray-gun") started her musical career at the age of 14 as the lead singer of a popular
Virginia band, based out of Richmond. As her musical talents evolved, she began reaching thousands of
people with her own intoxicating original music.
She has worked with the likes of David Lowery and Cracker, John Alagia (producer; Dave Matthews Band),
Butch Taylor (Dave Matthews Band keyboardist), Andrew Winn and the members of Agents Of Good Roots, members of Fighting Gravity and Pat McGee Band,
among other established artists.
She has shared the bill with Everything, Freedy Johnston, Blind Melon, members of P-Funk,
Chris Barron (Spin Doctors), Kevn Kinney (Drivin N Cryin), Chantal Kreviazuk (Sony), Melissa Ferrick, Ben Folds, Jill Sobule
and countless others.
Her debut solo recording, "First Breath" (produced by Regan) was released in late September 2000.
"First Breath" stayed in the #1 Top Selling CD (Pop/Rock) spot on MP3.com for over 5 weeks straight as well
as reaching #1 over the entire site numerous times. She has sold cd's in most states and countries through
her incredible internet success.
Some of this success led her to perform in Germany and has sparked the interest of many in Europe.
She is also in the running to win a recording contract with Garageband.com based on listeners reviews.
Her single "Today" (available on "First Breath") finished in the #2 spot overall and is creating quite a stir with
some industry folks.
Regan is currently working on her second recording project with Wayne Pooley & Doug Derryberry
(both of Bruce Hornsby), Stewart Myers and Agents Of Good Roots.
She has been included on various compilation CD's, including; "Somewhere Out There", a VA compilation
released on Planetary Records which includes her song, "A Fuss", produced by David Lowery, and featuring
guitarist Johnny Hickman (both of Cracker); "Station Break",a compilation CD released by Charlottesville,
VA radio station WNRN, includes her song "Here I Am", (recorded with Cracker as the back up band). This CD
also includes artists such as Dave Matthews Band, Ani Difranco, Everything, Earth To Andy, Fighting
Gravity, and more. Other recording accomplishments include singing Richmond, VA's theme song, "Easy To Love" with American Music Award winners, Carbon Leaf..
Regan is known for her outstanding live performances. Her unique voice and songwriting skills are
unmatched, and have earned the respect of those around her, which has allowed her to become a mainstay
in the Mid Atlantic region. You may see her touring either solo, or with guitarist Andrew Winn (Agents of
Good Roots), or varied versions of back up bands.
Regan's efforts have been anything but futile, the word is out and spreading quickly.

Press Reviews
"She's the Bjork of the South" - David Lowery (Cracker).........."A wonderful singer/song writer with a unique and vibrant sound of her own" - VAMusic411.com.........."Regan has trimmed her songs down to breathless exposes of pure emotion. Equipped with a versatile voice, she can play the pixie as convincingly as she plays the tragic heroine. A Lilith Fair show stealer in the making." - Chad D. - Listen.com |
