Artist description
About half of the tracks were recorded live at a couple of weddings in Tambacounda, Senegal. Usually, there would be one djembe solo, one accompaniment, and one dunun. But sometimes there would be only a djembe solo and a djembe accompaniment. The other half of the recordings were recorded at a special spot in the bush of Tambacounda. There were many large "serpent mounds" at this particular spot. PLEASE support the African artists by buying a CD. Supporting artists is a great way to help 3rd world peoples to have a better life for themselves and their families. |
