Artist History
Sami started playing music at an early age when his father brought home a small toy that had the shape of a keyboard and whose keys were small rubber buttons. Throughout the years he built up a small studio in a corner of his bedroom where he happily composed music in his spare time.
In 1993, Sami came to the US to study at Virginia Tech. While in college, he played with a couple of college bands in the capacity of keyboardist/composer. He also spent a lot of his free time composing in the haven of his bedroom. In 1996, he composed the soundtrack for a short cartoon skit (Full Moon) which received public acclaim at Virginia Tech.
Sami has been professionally composing music for 5 years in his home studio in Chicago. His music has been featured in the independent movie "Retribution", public service announcements and multimedia business proposals. His latest CD releases are "Stories" and "Movements in Space", both of which can be heard and purchased at http://www.mp3.com/sami |
