So the saying goes for this souped up and stripped down big rock trio.  Mike Schaming's combustive guitars, Josh Brannon's bombastic drumming, and the soaring vocals of Patrick Baxley combine to deliver a driving, dynamic rock punch to the gut.  The core appeal of the band, however, lies in their grab-you-by-the-collar live shows and memorable, heartfelt songs. Over the past 4 years, Hot Lava Monster has stormed through the southeast, playing everywhere from Atlanta to DC and sharing the stage with nationals such as the Toadies and Diffuser. The guys are currently in preproduction for the follow-up to their debut album "firstbreathofwater."
