Artist History Formed in early 96, by brothers Jon (Drummer) and Joe (guitarist, "vocals on demo"), GodFace was an instant success via the internet and local music scene. After many unenthusiastic attempts at getting the music out into the live scene, GodFace was put on hiatus. 3 years later the brothers reunited with a much angrier, much harder sound and have finally put together a winning group.

Press Reviews early 1998 Review: Straight out of Melbourne, Florida-- the city known for absolutely nothing-- comes one of the better unsigned bands to emerge from Florida in a long time. GodFace is the creation of brother's Joe and Jon Wells, who have been playing together for almost ten years now. With roots planted firmly in the hardcore scene, this demo is filled with powerful, ear pounding tracks. The recording opens up with the violent "Rage," kicking us in the face with intense guitar licks and blistering vocals. The band's angst is clearly demonstrated in the following track, "Wasting Time," a brutal attack on the senses with intense vocals and ass-kicking instrumentation. The ferociousness continues with the skull crushing "Game." GodFace won't be unsigned for long. Fact is, if they were a Miami band, or Tampa band, they'd already have national airplay, and it's about time Florida is recognized for other bands besides Marilyn Manson.-- Oscar Aparicio
