Artist History
Wayne Dwyer has been working in the music industry in various capacities for 20 years. Starting as a sound technician, he soon found himself touring Canada as guitarist and lead vocalist in the group Scandal. In the early '90s he co-wrote and recorded the album Plan B with the hard rock group Sneaky James, and in '94 he co-wrote and performed on the album Lone Rider with country artist Andrew Henderson. That particular project was a real learning experience for Wayne, as it was recorded in Nashville with producer Ralph Murphy (Patricia Conroy, Lone Star) and Garth Brooks' studio band. Since then, Wayne has collaborated on songwriting with Gary Moffet (ex-April Wine) and has engineered and produced CDs for a number of Montreal acts. He is now releasing his self-titled debut solo CD, Dwyer. |
