Ian McArthur...core producer of the aiffhead sound. Currently located in Shanghai, P.R. China :: about to relocate to Byron Bay, Australia :: , Mc Arthur continues to develop digital soundscapes with a laptop rather than the more cumbersome desktop mac that has produced the abstractions of bits and beats so far...Look for new beats from the Black Cell project as well as the new Outpost site based here in China. Recent compositions as aiffhead, Black Cell and Outpost reflect the new environment and experiences Asia brings. |

Press Reviews
April 2003 :: METROZINE :: Shanghai has lots of dance nights where DJ’s spin house, trance, techno and disco.
As the name implies the team behind SOMETIN’ DIFF are hoping to bring a multi-layered alternative to the city. Picking up on the trend towards laptop DJ’s, and incorporating a definite jungle/drum and bass vibe, the event promises to provide a new option to the usual nights catering to the dance scene.
15-01-2001:: A nice big cheerio goes out to everyone that helped on Sat night Thanks to Teedo and Barry for the Warehouse, Good Guys Electronics for the PA, and allthe Individuals that helped on the night.Sensory was a very nice, first up experience for us, I was a little concerned at around 11 o'clock, but it came good. thanks to everyone who showed up!the next sensory is scheduled for easter sometime...night went til 6:00, 150 people showed, and we almost made our money back...we had one cancellation (DIV) but we had 2 ring ins (Shane Simmons +live drummer & Aiffhead) all acts played very lovely sets.Anyone who went if they have any suggestions as to how we can improve for the next one, please let us know...cheers.
