Artist History Trup Nation (Trups) began forming in 1995 and was complete in 1997. With the help of local producer/promoter Shawn Bray, the four-man squad's debut LP was completed in 1999. Most of 1999/early 2000 was spent by the group pushing cd's locally and doing shows to refine their stage presence, while working on new material to keep their hype fresh in their fan base. Currently the Nation is working on packaging and releasing a five-song EP and doing larger, more publicized performances in Tampa and St. Petersburg.
