Press Reviews
"At this show, Tom told the funniest, scatological, perverse stories I've ever heard, He also played some comic/acoustic songs. Perhaps the subject matter might seem a bit limited to those who don't realize the wealth of variety to be found in tales of lovable pets that die and jokes about gross sex and the crowd had been enraptured, hanging on every hilarious word. They had to. If they didn't, he would begin insulting them..." - Independent Florida Alligator 3/19/92 ----- "His short narratives absorb you into a world that's not quite right." - Moon Magazine 7/1/93 --- "...prolific and industrious..." - The Gainesville Sun - 3/19/93 --- "Many Scene readers are familiar with Tom Miller. you can hardly utter a word about local arts without his name evident or just below the surface of your topic. He seems to be everywhere: a driving force in the former greats NDolphin; creator of the Tuesday Coffeehouse at Full Circle; kingpin of Fred Ink, one of the most industrious promotional organizations in Gainesville; composer and performer of loopy, scatalogical folk songs." - Applause - 8/6/93 --- "Miller continues to impress me with material from his various recording adventures." - Moon Magazine - 3/93 --- "If you've been living in Gainesville for any length of time and you haven't heard of or seen Tom Miller then you've had your head buried in the sand. Of all the people I've met living in Gainesville, Tom always seems to have the most going on. Bands, books, tv shows, art, poetry, record labels, politics, charity work - the list goes on and on." - Gasleak Magazine - 8/95 |
