Artist History
Sweet Pea's Revenge was formed in 1997 when 24-year-old singer/songwriter, Jim Brown decided to see how his songs would sound with a full band. Working out of New Orleans, LA, Sweet Pea’s Revenge has since released 2 critically acclaimed full length CD's, and toured all across the Southeastern US headline shows and opening for such acts as Govt' Mule, Merle Saunders, Delbert McClinton. Firmly rooted in a Southern groove, the band continues to slay audiences with frequent passionate and raucous performances. Their independent release, Bloodfire is heard on KKND 106.7 FM, WTUL 91.5 FM and WWOZ 90.7 FM and has sold over 1500 copies. |
