Stephanie St.John is an East Village fave singer/songwrite redefining the rock lyric. Stephanie is known for her unique singing and writing style that blends folk, trip-hop and alternative rock. Her song "BROWN' was the #1 downloaded song internationally for 3 months at Besonic.com. Recently she performed at the United Nations with David First's All Moons on their song "JUMP BACK' an ode to the people of New York City in the wake of the tradgey of Sept. 11th. |

Artist History
Stephanie St.John has been lead singer of VDisc for 3 years, the Eastern influenced space rock textured funk band (manned by Crank Call Love's Lin Esser), when she met Craig Randall of Brass Giraffe Studios who decided to produce her solo stuff upon hearing her international indie hit, " Cab Driver, when you sleep with..". Stephanie then found her Davids. She's now in the mixing process with David First producing a total configuration of her songs combining the best of droning, electric textured mess with cheesey pop and singer/songwritery angst.She's also in the studio with The Davids producing their first CD, "CINDERELLA'S DEAD".." |
