Artist History
Born Virgil Brewer in Flint, Michigan 1972 and raised on large doses of KISS, Alice Cooper, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Queen, and Aerosmith, this multi-instumental powerhouse is determined to set the world on fire with his high-energy showmanship. By the age of three, Virgil had shown a natural affinity for music and entertainment. Often hailed as a child prodigy, he spent his early years by playing guitar and singing at every possible invitation. After 13 years of playing live, and taking on the name Lordd Virgil, he has released his debut disc titled "Carpe Diem", which is quickly becoming a local favorite amongst Michigan's rock fans. Lordd Virgil wore many hats during the production of the eleven tracks that comprise the album. Not only did he produce and arrange, as well as play guitar, bass, drums, keys, and perform all of the vocals on each of the eleven tracks but Virgil also wrote ten of the eleven songs (the eleventh being a Beatles' cover), engineered nine of the tracks and, with the exception of most of the guitar solos and a few guest appearances by friends, performed nearly everything you hear on the album. Soon after the release of "Carpe Diem", Lordd Virgil became what it was always meant to be….,A LIVE BAND. |
