Artist description
A train with a maximum speed of 180 beats per minute comes to a stop at the station, allowing New Model Army and The Promise Ring to board. If it leaves the station at 150 beats per minute, stops halfway down the line and picks up J. Robbins, Phil Ochs and Bright Eyes, then strikes an idling semi filled with searing hydrochloric acid and radioactive scorpions, how fast will the train be going by the time the surviving musicians form a new band? Answer that, and you've answered everything. |

Music Style
Emo on a sunny day, or alternately, pop punk with a hangover. Folky punky rocky stuff? Geez, I have no idea. |
 |

The Refreshments, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, New Model Army, Fugazi, Jawbox, Burning Airlines, Bright Eyes, Phil Ochs, Pete Yorn, Stephen Ashbrook, The Promise Ring, Neil Diamond, and The Simpsons. |

Fun fact: the "studio" used for recording most of the songs you'll be hearing here consists mainly of the thirty-six cubic feet in front of my computer. The future is NOW! |
