Press Reviews
Lagniappe (3/13/98)- N.O, La"That Hobson's Choice originated six years ago as a cover band specializing in the classic prog-rock of the late '60's and early '70's- ELp, Jethro Tull, Yes, Traffic- says much about the pedigree of the quartet's debut CD of original music, 'New Horizons'. Guitarist/Vocalist Richard Bird and Keyboardist/Vocalist David Stocker both have years of production experience behind the mixing boards of studios and clubs; together with bassist Joel Webb and drummer Tom Larson, they con jure up a lush mix of synthetic and acoustic art-rock. They mark the release of their CD at Tipitina's this weekend." -Keith Spera |
