Artist description
Gyrogenics means "the creative process." It means producing new and provocative vehicles for improvisation. Their volume of original compositions reflects that hunger for inventiveness. The songs always leave open-ended improvisation up to the group to work out as feels appropriate at the time. The styles range from Hard Bop and Avant-Garde Free Jazz to Boogaloo and Hip Hop-Swing. |
