Artist History
C'mon Jack formed in late 1993 with Mike, Matt, Seth and Dave. By years end they aquired William on sax and in March 1994 Jason joined on Trombone. At the time their music wasn't really ska though it was a definite influence. Marty and his trumpet came along for the ride that summer and the group recorded their first 8 song Tape in January 1995. They played mostly local shows in Omaha, though they hit Lincoln once and played a show in Kansas City opening for the Gadgits in the summer of 1995. That summer the band lost half it's members and kept going with brand new songs and a new "more ska influened lighthearted" direction (they broke up in February 1999 after two more visits to the studio). These songs reflect C'mon Jack in it's infancy. All the members were in high school and the music reflects honest emotions and attitudes. |
