Artist History
Formed in 1988...and quickly delayed by 11 years. Guitarists Christopher "Zanary" Martin and Robert "Alisdair" Carter begin concocting a musical mix of all their influences...Aerosmith to Iron Maiden to G'n'R to Metallica. Create lampoon punk band "The Obsequious Bloodbath" with friend/guitarist Mike White in 1987 to offend growing NM punker movement. Alisdair pursues school and chaos out of state until forming Void Cathedral with Zanary in late 1993. The band soldiered on for almost six years, culminating in a huge local following and an appearance the the New Mexico Rock Coalition CD...but alas, departing members forced the end in 1999. The Martin/Carter Project rebirthed and began recording in South Mountain Sound forthwith. The goals are simple-play fast, slow, heavy, clean...but don't do anything halfway. |
