Artist description
Society's Finest blends the chaos of Metal and the fundamentals of Rock together, creating a unique sound. Heavy & technical guitars, tons of rhythm and blast beats, & chaotic vocals make it happen. Hearing the band is one thing, but seeing their live show is an event to remember. Body parts flying all over the stage, someone is guaranteed to get their eye poked out. If you appreciate heavy, driving, emotional music then check these guys out. |

Artist History
Formed in 1997, Society's Finest has worked long and hard to get where they are today. The band released a split cd in the spring of 1998 with Texas emo heros My Spacecoaster. This caught the attention of several record labels and they released "Private Conflicts and Suicides" a year later on Pluto records. After a year of touring and promoting themselves, they caught the eye of Seattle based Solid State Records. The band has recorded a full length cd, "The Journey... So Far" which will be released Summer of 2000. Society's Finest has shared the stage with the likes of Cro-mags, All Out War, Shutdown, Brother's Keeper, Zao, Living Sacrifice, Pro-Pain, Pissing Razors, and many others. |

Press Reviews
As far as EPs go, this has to be one of the best ones I've heard, end of story. Metal, at it's finest, simply put: Don't mess with Texas. - Bandopler Radio These guys are the hardest working Texas Hardcore band I know, and their work is showing. - Gravity Distorts Time These guys lay down an intense, brutal hardcore sound that'll rip yer ears off! - HM Magazine |
