Artist description
Solo project. Richard Wilson is Racing paper planes and vice versa. I make music that sometimes sucks and sometimes makes me feel good :) I'd like to think of this project as a vehicle to let thoughts and ideas transform into the universal language we call music.

Artist History
I started playing drums at the age of 4, and singing has always been there. I have since played drums in everything from jazz fusion outfits to heavy metal bands and even a country band.. Now it's mostly accoustic rock stuff I guess. The last two ep's I made has been made with help of other musicians. I think I may stick to using different musicians on each recording I do... Could be interesting. I have completed a US tour (Opening for Annika Bentley and June Panic) and released my first album "Morning scars" on Tract records. |

Press Reviews
Old reviews from when it was all about being young and emo... Now I'm bored and old : ) Acoustic guitars and emotional lyrics in the spirit of Post-Grunge bands like Live. Production is satisfactory and lends to the music well. If you like: Live, Bush, Soundgarden -www.audiogalaxy.com- *I personally don't agree about the bush/live post grunge connection (but I love Soundgarden) but it's all in the ear of the beholder, right?*/Richardmp3.lycos.com says:"Lyrical, melodic and jagged guitar work gets a chance to shine against equally lyrical bass work. What sounds like a drum machine relays a tinny, yet solid sound while the vocals flutter through a haze of treble. Yet another trip to the Zen Arcade.
