Artist description
Take the driving sound and energy of punk - and heavy metal without the hairspray (remember, this was 1989), add humor and/or sarcasm and sprinkle liberally with tons of loyal fans and you have what is known as the McKnickNix. Best enjoyed turned up to 11; serves as many as can fit in the hall. |

Artist History
Formed in 1989, arising from the ashes of The Fatheads, longtime cohorts Wrick and Mick (who first played together in 1979 and had been in such influential bands as DNA, the Turds, Kratus, Megatallisabbadefpriest among others) joined with two other partners in crime Chic and Knick. The group recorded their debut tape the very first time they all played together. Following was 3 years of nonstop gigs, pizza and beer. |
