Artist History In 1997 a burnt out and long retired punk rock singer, Alf Omega, was introduced to the digital music revolution by a former colleague. Gradually a dormant career was re-awakened and Alf Omega's metamorphosis into Dr.Grouse began. By the end of 1999 the good doctor had become sufficiently au fait with the new technology to make his humble beginnings as a record producer. In 2001, the first Dr.Grouse album, "Read My Mind" was completed. Later that year, while working on the 2nd Dr.Grouse album, Alf Omega enlisted the services of R. Andy Polkinghorne, a drummer he had worked with in his previous life as a punk-rocker twenty years earlier. Polkinghorne's influence lifted the music of Dr.Grouse to another dimension. As a result, the 2nd album, "Life And Other Cliches" represents a quantum leap from the debut album. Work on a third Dr.Grouse album has now commenced.
