Artist History
Living in America, Djjapp (not DJ Japp) first started to become interested in electronic music after first hearing the Mortal Kombat Theme by the Immortals =) At the time, not even knowing what techno or trance was, Djjapp pursued this cool music and started listening to Juno Reactor (which he had heard from the MK soundtracke). One thing led to another and the sounds of synth were all he wanted to hear. Many years later, after the Mortal Kombat craze, Djjapp started messing with some programs. Programs like Mixman and TechnoEJay served well for awhile, but Djjapp wanted to make his own music using his own sounds. Using sampled noises that were store bought just wasn't fun anymore. He then started using a free-ware tracker/sequencer program called Buzz (www.jeskola.com) which was great! Since then he's been making songs using Buzz for the past 2 years. |
