Artist description
Imagine that your angry all the time. The mere thought of the standards and values you've been taught all your life makes your stomach turn.Around every corner, society questions your morality and slaps you in the face with roadblocks of the free mind. Now imagine what it is like to say enough is enough and take control of your own life. A harsh course in the lesson of life pushing out all the frustrations held within through music. Being able to see through the clouds of racism and politics, the very things that have pre-determined your existence from the beginning. What bullshit!! Time to start choosing your own path. |

Artist History
Starting in a small town of Guthrie Oklahoma Daniel Russel met Mike Rose who was an extreme when it comes to playing the guitar. Simply stating that he was impressed he asked Rose to join him in a quest for the ultimate dream.Beginning line up Rose played rhythm guitars and Russell played lead with a friend on vocals Jeremy Mcelvey,Brian Miller on the drums,Brandy Babcock on the bass and yet another singer Kiesha Burnnet... With time passing tension grew so..Mcelvey and Babcock had to go. Satisfied with one singer they still needed a bass player and in comes Matty Q. When all had seemed ok a relationship between Miller and Burnnet caused more tension.Burnnet leaving left the vocals to Daniel Russell. The band was trying to break new grounds so they decided to go with a more experienced singer.. When they could not go with anyone out of nowhere comes Nick Gay full of fresh ideas and (oh yes)a heavier sound but Miller wanted funk beats on the drums so yet again tension..He had to go.They found the talents of a one Steve Talley who had basically mastered the drum set. All seeming good what could they expect to happen other than for personal reasons Matty Q. stepped out of the picture..Rose playing heavier and fuller riffs left the bass playing to Russell....The new line up Talley on the drums Rose guitars Gay vocals Russell bass and backing vocals..Playing countless shows all over Oklahoma and Kansas the opportunity had hit and many had witnessed the return of Matty Q. but not on the bass but yet the turn tables and samples with backing vocals.... So in closing with nothing to say from hate and anger and pain added to music was an entirely new sound known as Catastrophic Error.. |
