Artist description
Power Pop. Don beating the crap out of his drums, Rick playing his Rick really loud, Marv strumming his hand to a nub and cracking his voice like a fourteen-year-old. Also somewhere in there are hooky guitars, chewy melodies, and a bone snapping beat. Power Pop with a nugat center. |

Artist History
Starting as a Power Trio, Alien Bait (with Rick on Bass) began by attempting to make a mark in the recently abandoned Youngstown music scene. Taking inspiration from Boogieman Smash, The Revelers, The Deli Bandits, Blogurt, The Frampton Brothers, Over Your Head, and others, these 3 lads decided to see what music they could start. Alien Bait was formed from members of two other bands, the band DON,and the band The Boondoggles. After sharing the stage with the likes of Rich Creamy Paint, Frogpond, and The Terrifying Experience, they have developed a unique sound with a seasoning of pop sensibilty. |
