Artist description
I'm working solo and only in my free time. I like to listen to lot of music (even when I sleep) and I enjoy my work time as much as I enjoy my free time. I sometimes can't even tell them apart. I work as a teaching and research assistant at the Institute of Informatics in Skopje mainly in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Graphics, Database Systems (http://www.pmf.ukim.edu.mk/~ajan).. |

Music Style
What is the main style of these songs? I don't care about style. I write music which is definitely electronic because of the way I make it. The electronic styles I like the most are goa and trance, and besides Vangelis and Mike Oldfield and Jean-Michel Jarre that's the ONLY music I listen to. |
|
Musical Influences
I'm positive that I'm influenced by all the music I listen to, but I don't know which one the most. I already mentioned Vangelis, Mike Oldfield and Jean-Michel Jarre on the first place, and then I'll continue with Hallucinogen, Juno Reactor, Pleadians, Etnica, Astral Projection, and some others. Some of my stuff is provoked by some music of Michael Nymann. I also like Andreas Vollenweider, Kraftwerk, Enya, Tori Amos, Antonin Dvorak, Beethoven. |

Artist History
My first tune was when I was the 3rd grade elementary school (1983),I tried to compose something with the flute I had and I had recentlylearned about writing notes, so I did it. I gave it to a classmate who was taking music classes and piano in his free time and he played it and liked it and that's how it started. It was back in 1984 and I was inspired from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.About the same time I fell in love in computers anda year after, I got my first computer, the beloved C=64. The first electronic music attempts were done 1987 with a drum machine for the C=64; then followed some custom made low machine language programs for playing multichannel music which I programmed myself. I still have some of them recorded somewhere on a reel tape. 1992 I bought a 386 PC, made myself a parallel port to audio convertor and started with MODs; later with the 486s XMs and in the end with ITs. Three years ago I bought a P2 which I still have but now I make my music in an audio sequencer with softsynths and high quality samples-which I make myself usually. HUH, that would be all for now. I won't talk anything about my unmusical history coz this is not the place, nor the time for it, check out the other web pages of mine for that sort of thing. |
