Artist History
Wobblestone was conceived late in 1995 by songwriters Jim Bultas and Scott Kelly, the former a graduate of LA's Musician's Institute (and self proclaimed pioneer of the "buxom sound"), the latter an outspoken proponent of musical ecoterrorism. Together the two spun a thick and eclectic groove; their six-month search for a duly righteous drummer ended with David Klein, risen from the ashes of underground alternative fave Pigbite. An artifact from antiquity, infamous for its apparent defiance of the laws of physics, provided them with a name. Berklee-bred fretless ace Chris "Exit 135" Pott came aboard in December 1998 (replacing intrepid benthic explorer Clancy "Meat" Rowley and chick magnet Steve "Godzilla-Boy" Kennedy) to provide them with bottom end. |
