Artist description
Thank you for taking the time to listen to my music. I perform and record with several bands including River Crossing, Key, Jealous Cowboy, and Bethel. As a producer, I work with groups like Secret Y, The Tolpuddle Martyrs, and Celestial Brass. So far I've created a dozen CD's ranging from Folk to Rock to Hip-Hop to Blues to Jazz to Classical to Gospel. The 2 albums available at mp3.com/terry are solo projects. In 1993, I recorded "Family", my debut recording session (engineered by Terry Litzman at Litzman Studio). In 2001, I recorded "Hymns" (engineered by Tye Robison at Artisan Recording Studio) in an effort to make more worship music available via the internet. Please check out the "Links" tab to access the many groups with whom I work. And email me via "Contact" to let me know what you think. I was honored to join the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Chorus in 2000. And I'm a loyal member of Christ United Methodist Church's Sanctuary Choir. As the Associate Director of Contemporary Music at Christ UMC, I strive to turn my diverse musical experiences into opportunities to glorify God. |

Artist History
I started singing as a baby and playing guitar around 10. I first learned I could make money music when my grandparents gave me 3 dollars for singing "Rhinestone Cowboy" when I was 5. Since then, I've been in and formed several bands and currently produce music for my independent music label Mad Beacon Records. I play around the Dallas music scene solo and with River Crossing and Bethel. I also have the pleasure to write, record and/or produce with Key, Jealous Cowboy, Bethel, The Tolpuddle Martyrs, Celestial Brass, Sessionhead, Secret Y and River Crossing. My vocal training started as a child and continued through College. I attended SMU on an acting scholarship. All the effort started to pay off for me as I started playing professionally in Dallas, Texas. So far I've had the pleasure to perform at venues ranging from Coffee Haus with River Crossing to The Meyerson with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Chorus. Currently I perform with River Crossing, Jealous Cowboy, Christ United Methodist Church Sanctuary Choir, CUMC Praise, and Bethel. I am honored to serve Christ UMC as Associate Director of Contemporary Music. |
