Artist History [Español] Tavú fue formado en el 1996 con el propósito de hacer una fusión musical ecléctica basada en el powergroove metalcore y en ritmos e influencias del funk, formando parte de un género referido de vez en cuando como "funkcore" o "funkmetal". A travéz de los años, su estilo ha madurado, y ha visto varios niveles de experimentación, y varios cambios de miembros. Siempre en la búsqueda de la química y la fórmula perfecta, Tavú ha seguido incorporando elementos nuevos en el género de la música pesada, gracias a las ideas diferentes pero complementarias de cada miembro. Al momento estan en el proceso de acabar su primera producción discográfica completa.Estén pendientes para más noticias. [English} Tavú was formed in 1996 with the idea in mind of creating a fusion of musical styles based on powergroove metalcore, and funk influenced rhythms, taking part of a genre of heavy music sometimes refered to as "funkcore" or "funkmetal". Throughout the years, their style has matured and has seen various levels of experimentation, and some lineup changes. Always striving for the ideal formula and band chemistry, Tavú has kept incorporating new elements into the genre of heavy music, all thanks to the different, yet complementary ideas of each individual band member. At the moment, they are wrapping up their first full length album, and currently playing all over the island. Stay tuned for more news.
