Artist History
One fateful day, the Weems brothers both decided to pick up learning instruments. Much to their parents' dismay, Justin got en electric guitar and Jacob got a set of drums. Over a year later, the boys both decided to form a band with their friends Stephen Alders and Alex Santos, and they called themselves "clone." Together, they wrote a couple of songs a performed a gig at the local Chi Rho Club. After a while, the band found themselves in need of a new bassist, and discovered Chris Ramirez. Along with the change in line up, they changed their name to six45 on June 7, 1998.
During the existence of the band, several songs were written, and the band played several local gigs. Eventually the band found a chance to record some of their songs at Encore Studios, and made available to their friends "BIG MEAN STUPID", a three-song EP. After playing a few more gigs, including being the opening act for the first NHS Ecology Club concert, lead singer Alex Santos had to move to Chicago, and thus six45 disbanded in the summer of 1999. |
