Artist History
Born in 1959, Robert Ian Winstin is considered one of his generations
most influential artists. Awarded many honors - including the coveted "Concours Cavaete
Prim Palm D'Or' for his opera "DEDO" and the 'Barrettson Prize in American Music' for
his "PIANO CONCERTO #1", Robert Ian Winstin was the first American composer to perform his
music in mainland China, in the Summer of 1995, with the Shanghai Symphony and the Beijing Orchestra.
Robert Ian Winstin has recorded over 15 CD's for the E.R.M. (Editions de la Rue Margot) label. |
