Artist History Majik has developed a unique and futuristic sound which they call “Thrash Dance”. This sound combines thrash metal guitar riffs, glam metal twin leads, techno keys,all set to a dance beat with a grooving bass. Topping it all off, they have incorporated new and exciting vocals. In spite of the diversity of this combination,it all comes together under one heading, which makes their music truly “Majik”. The line up consists of six very talented, energetic, and motivated members. Upfront, and full of surprises, is Jeremy (Cactus), who demonstrates an amazing live performance to accompany his unique vocals. Combined with two very experienced lead/rhythm guitarists who are the backbone of Majik’s sound. This pair is unstoppable and their skills will bring you to your knees. They are, Charlie (also on backing vocals), and Dennis (with some backing vocals). No band would be complete without a drummer and bassist. Majik is no average band, and their rhythm section is no exception to that! Josh plays drums with the ease and experience of a professional. His lighting fast feet, and intricate rolls can attest to that. Completing this rhythmic team is Chris on bass guitar. This wizard will lull you with his bass riffs and shock you with live energy. Tying all this sound together is the ever impressive and inventive sounds played by Jessi on the keyboards. The combined efforts and talents of this line up are untouchable. Never has a team been put together so well. Majik’s goal is to revolutionize the music they love. They want to bring it into the 21st century, where live metal and techno/dance are merged and accepted. They have already blown the minds of their fans in Dallas, and Ft. Worth. Songs like“Small Box”, “Nomad”, and “Fatal Reflection” are just a few included in the set that gets fans up on their feet, up to the stage, and dancing and screaming like crazy. This band has doubled it’s following since their new sound has been introduced, and the club owners are very impressed. Majik is exciting, ambitious, and totally open minded.
