    Artist History
Low Twelve was started in the Spring of 1998 by founder, bassist/vocalist Pete Altieri. Since it's beginnings in a basement on West Graham Street in Bloomington IL, Low Twelve has enjoyed the success of their hard work. Their debut demo CD release, "Blunt Force Trauma", received praise in the metal media, and their follow up EP, "Kill Floor", has gotten significant airplay on radio stations in the Midwest and on the internet. They have dominated the Top 100 on the mp3.com metal charts. Low Twelve released the much anticpated full length cd, "Flesh of the Weak" in early December 2000. The cd has been hailed by metal zines and fans alike. Tim McCleland left the band in October 2001, and they decided to forge on as a 3-piece. Just as brutal as ever, they continue to shred posers every chance they get. Low Twelve is currently recording a new cd called "Unfit for Human Occupancy", which will be out in June and they'll be hitting the road on the Unfit Tour, slamming the east coast. They're also on the new Heavycore compilation CORE TIL DEATH along with Pro-Pain, Malevolent Creation, and Hate Plow.
