Artist History Joel Tallent started out as an MC, rhyming over beats since his days as a high school senior in 1987. After discovering electronic music around 1992, he dropped the mic and began focusing on ambient tracks with abstract beats. After publishing many tracks on the internet, he was signed by [unit] records, and in February 2002 released his first full-length album, "Shuffling Data."
